I just moved from out of state, is my carry permit recognized in TN?

If a person with a handgun permit from another state decides to become a resident of Tennessee, the person must obtain a Tennessee handgun permit within six (6) months of establishing residency in Tennessee.

This means you will need to take the class and proceed with the state application as if you never had a permit in another state. There is no out of state transfers.

Do you do transfers and how?

Yes! When you purchase a firearm online or somewhere else, just use us as your shipping store! Where you are transferring from will need our FFL, just give them our email address (setgunsandrange@gmail.com) and this will be provided to them. It is $25 and if you transfer more than 1 in the same transaction it is $15 for each additional. The TN background check is $10.
